ClassBubs at the Bub Fair!



Christmas is approaching, and Christmas lights are popping up all around Singapore. The city comes alive with festive events to keep you occupied and, of course, to provide you the perfect opportunity to spoil your friends, family and kids.


This year ClassBubs is participating at The Bub Fair 2021 Edition 2.0 with exciting workshops for kids to develop their creativity and passion. While you Christmas shop at The Bub Fair, let your little one develop their interests, nurture valuable skills & enjoy themselves at our workshops – from coding & baking to art & dancing! 


We understand that children’s learning opportunities should not be limited. We want them to develop skills and abilities that they are enthusiastic about in a world with so many opportunities! ClassBubs’ workshops at The Bub Fair are the perfect chance for your kids to pique their interests and be inspired to chase new dreams!


The following are the workshops ClassBubs is offering at The Bub Fair on Dec 17 to 19.

  1. Scratch Jr. – Understanding Motion, Create Animation on Scratch Jr. by The Young Maker

For Ages 4-6

Time: Dec 17, 18, 19 at 11:00-11:45am 


The Young Maker is an education hub to impart coding literacy and STEM learning to all children from 5  to 12 years old. As code literacy gains importance in our digital world today, more parents enroll their children for computing classes in their early education. 


Scratch Junior (ScratchJr) is an introductory programming language that enables young children to create their own interactive stories and games. Children snap together graphical programming blocks to make characters come to life. ScratchJr is used by millions of children around the world. It is carefully designed to match young children’s cognitive, personal, social, and emotional development. Participants will be introduced to Scratch Junior Application. They will be introduced to coding/programming with a simple exercise of giving instructions to characters/sprites using Scratch Junior.



  • Programming – X-Y Axis Understanding Game Development on Scratch (laptops) by The Young Maker

For Ages 7-10

Time: Dec 17, 18, 19 at 1:00-1:45pm


Scratch is a programming language developed by MIT targeted primarily at children. The block-based visual programming language allows children to program interactive media such as stories, games, and animation. As children create with Scratch, they learn to think creatively, work collaboratively and reason systematically. Participants will be introduced to Scratch Programming in this introductory workshop.


  • Global Trivia by Neobael

For Ages 6-12

Time: Dec 17, 18, 19 at 12:00-12:45 & 4:00-4:45pm


Neobael is a 21st-century online enrichment platform for children (7 to 11 years). We design and deliver high-quality learning by tackling the Why first. Our global classrooms are designed with an online-first approach empowering children and educators across the world to connect, collaborate and imagine.

We know that children need more opportunities for collaboration and to build confidence in a fun yet nurturing environment. What better way to do it than a live, fun and educational global trivia?


  • No-bake Snowballs! By The Little Things

For Ages 4 & above

Time: Dec 17, 18, 19 at 1:00-1:45pm


Nothing brings friends & family together, the same way Food does. The Little Things seek to bring more children into the kitchen to explore a world of food, ingredients, getting their hands dirty… and of course, to savor the fruits of their labor!

While whipping up their feasts, and having a ball of a time while at it, children pick up many crucial skills, like language, numeracy, science, problem-solving, working independently, motor skills, and much, much more. The kitchen is a treasure trove of lessons – and they want to share them with every child!

At this workshop, children will engage in pouring, measuring & kneading ingredients to create their own rendition of edible “snowballs”!





  • Kiddies Active Dance with Dancely by Tanglin Arts Studio

For Ages 3-6

Time: Dec 17, 18, 19 at 3.00pm-3.25pm & 3.30pm-3.55pm


Tanglin Arts Studio provides a welcoming place for expat and locally raised dance students to make wonderful friends and grow their passion for music and movement. Working closely with dancers from around the globe, we understand the unique challenges expat students face and aim to help them thrive in our shared environment.

Dancely is a wonderful program for 3 to 6 years olds that provides education and entertainment through original music especially written for the program by award winning songwriters at Disney, Netflix and Marvel, original choreography and dance styles such as jazz, hip hop, ballet and tap.




  • Intro to Art: Pattern and Print by Brave New Worlds

For Ages 5-12 (flexible)

Time: Dec 17, 18, 19 at 5.00pm-5.45pm


Brave New Worlds use art making as a way to get kids to build critical and creative thinking skills in a fun and accessible way.

Join us for a crash course in creating fun patterns and prints using only paper, scissors and paint!
